El Silencio is a short film made by the Latin LGTBQI community and tells parallel stories of the Queer immigrant experience, touching on themes of adaptation, isolation, and sexual practices through the stories. Their stories are connected by the condition of their acquiring and/ or transmitting HIV and Hepatitis C.

El Silencio (“Silence”) is an adaptation by Jorge Manzano of the play “Rompiendo El Silencio” (“Breaking the Silence”) by Gerardo Betancourt. Directed and produced by Gricel Severino in association with Alucine.
