Singer Ada Lee is leaving her home in Peterborough, Ontario, to make way for the expansion of a freeway. Before she goes, Ada gives viewers a tour around the city whose cultural scene she helped cultivate. Back when she was a traveling musician, Ada toured the world with some of music's greatest jazz artists. She thinks the world of Peterborough and puts on a show for the camera, charming viewers into seeing the small city how she sees it. Part meditation on obsolescence and part performance piece, the film offers a frank look at what it feels like to move on through the perspective of a local celebrity.
