Beneath a canopy of dazzling stars, silhouettes of fabulous beings from another time and place erupt in a series of strange and fascinating rituals vacillating between violence and tenderness. Blinding visions of icy wind-swept plains form the backdrop of this mesmerizing sequence of gestures that the choreographer has extracted from daily life and transposed into an imaginary world of dance. Adapted from the choreography of the same title by Marie Chouinard, this fantastic film gives the spectator the eerie impression of discovering a previously unknown people and culture.
