Artist

Khanhthuan Tran

Born in Vietnam, raised in Canada, Khanhthuan Tran holds a BFA from NSCAD and was a resident at the Canadian Film Centre. Tran’s award winning work has received support from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, the Toronto Arts Council, Arts Nova Scotia, CFAT and SAW Video. His thoughts on Asian Canadian filmmaking can be read in Reel Asian: Asian Canada on Screen (Coach House Press, 2007). His work is distributed through Vtape.
