Jason Ebanks

Grew up in a family house whole that listened heavily to reggae, jazz and soul. Introduced to photography at the age of 10 by his grandfather, then wanted to combine music and photography together. Majored in media arts in high school. Moved to Toronto in '96 from his home town Kitchener. Graduated from Sheridan College in '97 for film production. Started directing short films for his demo reel in 2001, again heavily inspired by music. Ebanks is currently working as a Production Manager at Trinity Square Video, an artist run media oganization, and has recently been picked-up by Revolver
Film Co. to direct music videos.

Ebanks has shot projects for Adidas, LOOP, LAPUZ, and Wolves for their fashion launch soirees. Completed eleven/11 second short films. Currently working on "SoundKlash" which showcases 100 of Toronto's music personallites. He's been showcased in a number of film festivals in Toronto such as Images, Toronto Online, Moving Pictures, Rendezvous with Madness, and Rehab.

With his strong sense of style and music Ebanks is well on his way to directing some the most memorable music videos, and other film projects.
