Drive

Missing Associates, Lily Eng and Peter Dudar

1985, 05:35 minutes, Colour, No language

TAPECODE 1068.17

A post-Missing Associates piece. Lily Eng, with her intense drive and energy, meets the dictates of the relentlessness driving music. Drive deviates from the more cerebral, albeit energetic thrust of her previous works when she only used ambient sound. The movements here are no longer restricted to the grounding of the body, but are quite distinctly expansive in execution.
